The Pirate's Consort

About a week ago, I introduced you to a sea slug that looks very much the pirate. Today I found the "perfect" mate for such a dashing swashbuckler. Doesn't she look elegant with her flowing ball gown (or, if you'd rather, her well-coifed hair)?

Both creatures live in the sea and both are called nudibranch. I haven't a clue what that means but I think their photographs are stunning. The diversity and beauty of God's creation is incredible. Thank you, God!
