QQC--Grace and Belief

Quirks, Queries and Commentary—Exodus 9:13-19
God provided a way out of the devastation of the plague of hail. If the Egyptians would bring their animals and workers into shelter, they would not be affected by the plague. In order to take advantage of this grace of God, however, they had to believe that God would really do what he said he would do and then act on it. Not everyone did.
We can be like that. God offers his grace to us but until we believe that he will do what he says he will do, we're not likely to accept that grace. Despite our theologies, we are often a people of very little faith.
